Protection des données personnelles

The European regulation concerning the protection of personal data is undergoing a major evolution that resulted in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of April 27, 2017, which came into effect on May 25, 2018.

Our company, concerned with complying with regulations that can enhance our relationships with our European customers, has ensured compliance and expresses in this charter its commitment to the quality of service provided to our customers, whether they are individuals or professionals.

This new regulation concerning European citizens, who are not professionals and therefore considered “individuals,” strengthens the control, by the individual themselves, over the use of their data. The regulation applies to all processing of personal data, whether automated or non-automated, whether the data is contained or intended to be included in a file.

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA FOR AN INDIVIDUAL?

By definition, personal data is: “Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly (name, first name) or indirectly (by an identifier, customer number, phone number…). The identification of a natural person can be made from a single piece of data (ABS number, SS number) or from a combination of data.

WHAT CAN WE COLLECT AS PERSONAL DATA?

We only collect adequate and relevant data, strictly limited to the provision you have ordered, and with your consent, data related to our commercial and prospecting actions.

WHY DO WE NEED TO COLLECT AND PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data collected and processed as part of an ordered service, commercial contact, or sales follow-up are kept in accordance with the legal prescription periods set according to the nature of the contract and respecting Swiss regulations, which is 10 years. In the context of commercial prospecting, personal data is retained for 2 years from the date of collection or the last contact with the person concerned.
